I took off for a jog after unpacking. It’s still early, so why not go explore? The area around this plot of land is huge! Like really huge. It’s really unnerving, especially since I’m so used to the cramp alleys and tall buildings in Bridgeport. Windenburg is definitely the change I needed. No more smog, no more hustle and bustle. No, this is the peaceful country life that I went searching for.

The search is on! If I am going to do this whole survive on my own with just a plot of land and nothing else, I need to do something with the land. If I could just find something to plant. I spot this pretty cool log near a creak, and…well, just junk and mud. Yuck! No hidden secrets. No scrap pieces of chewed up apple cores or fruit pits I could use. Whatever.

Okay, so the log was a bust. Though, on my way back I totally spotted these cool little rock things that looked like something else was sort of inside…I dunno. Maybe like silver or something. That would be awesome if I found silver or gold or something to exchange for some money. Twenty bucks isn’t going to do me a lot of good here soon. I need something to cash in on before I am really out of luck.

Why the hell did I spend that money last month on that King Llama’s concert? Sure, seeing Jackson Day before he killed himself was cool, but to be frank, I should have saved that money for this move.

So, the bad thing about this having no home and just a shower…well, there’s no public restrooms anywhere. Trust me, I’ve checked. The hell? I have to whiz so bad too. I did find this huge ass bush, and…

Well, if no one’s around…

Yup, no one’s watching me piss. No one’s seeing me going all indecent exposure on this plant.

Now, the one thing I am happy on finding is this rad fishing pole some sorry fisherman left at this creek. Now, then…how did Dad teach me again? Hmm.

This is so awesome.

And what’s even more awesome, my first catch… a freakin’ half eaten apple! Don’t mind if I do, apple. I’ll be planting you, and you’ll be my first plant.

Yeah, life…life is going to be so fun here in Windenburg. I can fish, I can hunt for minerals and hope to score big someday, and best of all…I have an apple.

  6. I am loving Jeremy more and more….and I loved that the spent the last of his money on the King Llama’s concert before Jackson Day killed himself. Still traumatized over that one.
